One day Caitlin was sitting in the changing room. She had just finished playing with her ducky in the bath. She had been dried off with the soft towel and had been changed into a soft and fuzzy zig-zag romper. She began to bang the drum her Mummy had just given her to play with. Life was great ! She was Mummy's only Babyz. She was always being played with and been giving loads of attention. Caitlin didn't need any other Babyz to play with ! Her and her Mummy were just fine ! Or so she thought. Caitlin looked up as she sensed another person in the room. WHAT WAS THIS ? She took one look at Adam and began crying the loudest she could cry. 'Mummy do something !' she thought. 'I don't know this person ! Get him away from me !' Caitlin could hear Mummy making soothing noises to her. 'Don't cry Caitlin ! This is your new brother Adam ! He's someone new to play with !' Caitlin understood most of this. She did not, however, understand BROTHER.

Adam was smiling at Caitlin and trying to maneuver himself over towards her. Caitlin was just crying more and more, and trying to move away from him ! Mummy tried all she could to calm Caitlin down, but finally she got quite cross and put her away while she concentrated on Adam. Caitlin was so sad. 'Does Mummy not love me anymore?' she thought, 'Does she like Adam more than me? Is she going to ignore me now and just play with Adam?' Then she had a great idea. 'I know ! I'll make sure that from now on she likes me more than Adam ! I'll be the best babyz ever ! I'll do as she tells me all the time and she'll soon realize that she made a mistake getting Adam !'

The next time Mummy got Caitlin out she was alone. Caitlin did everything Mummy asked her and was good as gold, even at mealtime! She didn't throw one spoonful of food around, and she even ate up all her vegetables that she thought were yucky. Mummy was so surprised. Caitlin had never been this good before ! Mummy thought it was too good a chance to miss and got ready to get Adam out. She brought him out, got ready for the crying and screaming off Caitlin NOTHING ! Not one whimper ! In fact, Caitlin looked almost happy to see Adam, and he was definitely glad to see her. He was getting quite lonely on his own and wanted someone to play with. Caitlin thought 'I'll play with Adam just this once, so Mummy can see what a good baby I am, and then from then on I will play by myself, and show Mummy I don't need Adam to be happy !' Caitlin and Adam moved into the family room and Mummy put on some groovy music to dance too. Now if there was one thing Caitlin was good at and loved to do, it was dancing. She started jigging away to her music and to her surprise, Adam did too ! She looked cautiously at him, and then she smiled. Dancing together was much more fun than dancing alone. And what was this ? Mummy had gotten out a box of cookies ! Yum Yum ! When Caitlin and Adam returned for the night, they both had different thoughts. Adam was thinking 'Caitlin isn't so bad after all ! I could get to quite like her !' And Caitlin was thinking 'Maybe its not so bad having a brother after all ! I had great fun today and I even got cookies for playing with him ! This could turn out ok !'

Caitlin and Adam got to be the best of friends. They played together all the time. Soon after they got another sister to play with, Lizzie. They all got along great. They learned to crawl, walk and talk together. It was great ! And Mummy was very pleased with all her Babyz. She thought she was the luckiest Mummy ever !
